We got a room at 14th floor which had a very nice view of the city and ocean. The room was up to CP standards, clean, comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of foods offered. Hotel staff pleasant, kind and ready to assist. We received some very good pointers from hotel receptionist on where to go for dinner, how to reach downtown, etc. Hotel is easily reachable from the airport - some 25 euro taxi ride. It is relatively close to A line of metro (10 minutes walking) which leads to downtown. If you need to rent-a-car, like we did, car rental is across the street, some 3 minutes away.

Crowne Plaza Porto is a luxury hotel with incredibly comfortable beds—the best part being the comforter. The bedding was spotless and crisp. Housekeeping staff were very humble and friendly, making the stay even more pleasant. Breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options every morning. The only thing that bothered me, not just at this hotel but throughout my 14-day trip across Madrid and Portugal, was that the bathrooms—particularly the showers and hard-to-reach edges—could use a bit more polishing and detailing.

very quiet and spacious room, tilting windows, spacious closet with full length mirror door and many hangers, electrical socket in the sejf, decent-size bathroom, clean towels, large bath towels, robust hair-dryer, bidet, good quality toiletries, magnifying mirror, small and clean kettle, 3 fast lifts, varied breakfast, very polite and friendly dinner staff, botanical gardens and metro station (line directly to the airport) within walking distance

The hotel has fulfilled my wish (when booking) to have a silent room, far away from the lift. The staff was very helpful and attentive. They even organized a special present/surprise for my wife's birthday anniversary - a bottle of champagne and cake!
