We got a room at 14th floor which had a very nice view of the city and ocean. The room was up to CP standards, clean, comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of foods offered. Hotel staff pleasant, kind and ready to assist. We received some very good pointers from hotel receptionist on where to go for dinner, how to reach downtown, etc. Hotel is easily reachable from the airport - some 25 euro taxi ride. It is relatively close to A line of metro (10 minutes walking) which leads to downtown. If you need to rent-a-car, like we did, car rental is across the street, some 3 minutes away.

Housekeeping staff were very humble and friendly, making the stay even more pleasant. Breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options every morning. The only thing that bothered me, not just at this hotel but throughout my 14-day trip across Madrid and Portugal, was that the bathrooms—particularly the showers and hard-to-reach edges—could use a bit more polishing and detailing.
